The Program
Our student membership offers a focused study of the three foundations of effective herbal medicine. We offer a flexible and structured path through our core curriculum with video classes and materials combined with live, interactive discussion sessions where we integrate the information and collaborate on ideas.
- Organ Systems: We begin with eight comprehensive organ system classes examining the intersection of human physiology and medicinal plants, informed by real world clinical practice.
- Materia Medica: Throughout the year, you will build a robust knowledge of materia medica, learning the details of over 50 medicinal plants in depth.
- The Herbal Pharmacy: You will develop skilled medicine making techniques for creating high-quality herbal extracts.
- Specialized Topics: To round out your education, we provide dedicated classes on medicinal mushrooms, adaptogens, herbal first aid, and the practical art of kitchen herbalism.
When you understand these biological foundations—how herbs influence organs, tissues, and fluid movement in the body—you move beyond memorization and guesswork. You develop the clinical reasoning and intuition needed to assess health concerns deeply and create clear, effective strategies for lasting health.
