Caty Crabb | Clinical Herbalist

My work is rooted in the belief that herbal medicine should be as accessible as it is effective. With over 20 years of clinical experience and a background in organic farming, I’ve made it my life’s work to follow plants through their entire lifecycle: from planting seeds in the dirt to putting medicine in a client’s hand.

I was fortunate to train under Michael Moore at the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine and Adam Seller at the Pacific School of Herbal Medicine. My teaching merges their deep lineage with my own clinical reality. My goal is to help you move past confusion and misinformation by sharing what actually works—and why—so you can apply herbal medicine skillfully.

Whether you are an aspiring herbalist or a seasoned practitioner, I am here to help you strengthen your craft with tools grounded in science, tradition, and two decades of professional insight.

Aralia School of Herbal Medicine

The Aralia School of Herbal Medicine exists to share experience based, practical knowledge with both aspiring herbalists and established practitioners. I want to give people tools to realize agency over their health, and deepen understanding of the body and how herbs work within it. My offerings aim to be detailed and physiology based. Through knowledge of herbs and the body, we can achieve better health for ourselves and our communities.

In my opinion, there is no substitute for learning from someone like Caty who can tell me how she’s actually used a particular herb over many years, and what the results have been. Her experience and willingness to share is invaluable and a treasure to the community.

The detailed focus on each organ system and the supportive learning structure really made it useful. This was perfect timing for me before taking further classes.

Carrie N

The course was amazing—it was everything I hoped for and more. It provided thorough, comprehensive knowledge that I know will be essential to my work moving forward. Thank you so much for putting this together!
